Parents across the Hudson Valley have been chiming in on virtual forums held by elected officials in recent weeks with their back-to-school concerns. They wonder why school reopening varies from district to district, or even within the same district. And there’s anxiety about how parents will address overseeing their children’s education virtually if they have to go to work in-person. Republican Dutchess County Executive Marc Molinaro tells WAMC’s Hudson Valley Bureau Chief Allison Dunne that he’s been hearing from parents and others grappling with these issues.
