SUNY Orange is the latest college in the Hudson Valley to announce its plans for the fall semester.

SUNY Orange’s fall semester will include a blend of in-person and remote classes, along with mostly online support services and a phased plan for repopulating the Middletown and Newburgh campuses with employees. Both campuses will remain closed to the general public. The semester begins August 24, as originally scheduled. On-campus instruction, which will account for some 15 percent of the total curriculum, will end November 24, two days before Thanksgiving. The rest of the semester will be held remotely. On-campus instruction will be limited to those course-related activities requiring labs or specialized computer hardware and software. The college also plans to implement a daily COVID screening process for students and employees.
