Ulster County Sheriff Juan Figueroa is seven months into his job. He recently spoke with WAMC’s Hudson Valley Bureau Chief Allison Dunne about his biggest challenges, including how his department is tackling the opioid crisis.

Ulster County Sheriff Juan Figueroa, a Democrat,  was scheduled to announce new efforts and funding to combat the opioid crisis Wednesday afternoon with County Executive Pat Ryan.
