In New York, Rockland County’s first medical marijuana dispensary is opening Thursday.
Remedy Dispensary is opening in Bardonia, a hamlet in the town of Clarkstown. Remedy will offer capsules, vape pens and cartridges as well as tinctures under the state’s medical marijuana program that launched in January 2016. It’s Valley Agriceuticals’ second dispensary to open in New York this week, having opened a Remedy Dispensary in New Hartford, in Oneida County January 30. Valley Agriceuticals manufacturing facility is in Wallkill, in Orange County. In August 2017, the state Department of Health authorized five additional registered organizations to manufacture and dispense medical marijuana, Valley Agriceuticals among them.
