A college orchestra in the Hudson Valley is expanding to include community musicians.
The Bard College Orchestra is expanding to become an orchestra for the local community by welcoming players of all orchestral instruments and those of high school-age and above. Bard students, faculty and staff, local high school players, and community members of at least level 5 New York State School Music Association standard are welcome to audition. The Bard College Community Orchestra has three programs planned for the year. Bard College is in Annandale-on-Hudson in Dutchess County.
