HealthAlliance Of The HV Unveils Kingston Plans

Hospital officials unveiled plans Thursday for a hospital renovation and medical village in Kingston, New York.

HealthAlliance of the Hudson Valley President and CEO David Scarpino says plans have grown in scope over the months and now include a 110,000-square-foot expansion and 70,000-square-foot renovation of the HealthAlliance Hospital on Mary’s Avenue, as well as a medical village hub at HealthAlliance Hospital: Broadway Campus. It’s all part of a five-year, $133.6 million “Healthy Neighborhood Initiative” project, with $112 million of this earmarked for the St. Mary’s expansion. In March, Health Alliance became a member of the Westchester Medical Center Health Network. With city and state approvals needed, construction is expected to start in the second half of 2017.
