Health Alliance of the Hudson Valley, effective immediately, is a member of the Westchester Medical Center Health Network.
The agreement extends Westchester Medical Center Health Network’s reach into Ulster and Delaware Counties, as Health Alliance consists of the Mary’s Avenue campus in Kingston (formerly Benedictine Hospital); the Broadway campus (formerly Kingston Hospital); Margaretville Hospital; and Mountainside Residential Care Center. Health Alliance President and CEO David Scarpino say the vision includes the continuation of critical-access and skilled-nursing services in Margaretville; the development of the Mary’s Avenue Campus into a single hospital, and the evolution of the Broadway Campus into a ‘medical village’ concept. WMCHealth will be the sole corporate member of HealthAlliance.
