The Dutchess County executive will host the second annual agriculture forum at the Dutchess County Fair.
Dutchess County Executive Marc Molinaro will host the forum at the Dutchess County Fairgrounds, where many farmers are participating in the fair that began Tuesday. The forum is Thursday at 8 a.m., before the fair opens. Molinaro expects more than 50 local farmers, elected officials and representatives from agricultural and land conservancy organizations to take part. The forum will include such announcements as the county’s new Agricultural Navigator. Following the forum, Molinaro will again help out at the milk shake booth serving one of the Dutchess County Fair’s most popular treats. The booth often has the longest lines on the fairgrounds.
