Pipeline Opposition Coalition To Hold Festival In Peekskill

A coalition that opposes the construction of a gas pipeline through the Hudson Valley is holding a day of activism and resistance in Westchester County Saturday.

ResistAIM, a coalition opposed to Spectra Energy’s Algonquin Incremental Market pipeline, is holding The Say NO Say YES Fest, at the Paramount Hudson Valley Theatre in Peekskill. The AIM pipeline project begins in Rockland County and moves through Westchester and Putnam Counties before heading into Connecticut, Rhode Island, and Massachusetts. Events are scheduled throughout the day, including a 3 p.m. screening of activist Josh Fox’s new documentary How to Let Go of the World and Love All The Things Climate Can’t Change. Fox is the writer/director of Gasland Parts I and II.
