There is an addition to this year’s Walkway Marathon in Dutchess County.
Walkway Marathon Race Series partners Walkway Over the Hudson and Dutchess County government are adding a Think Differently Dash on Saturday, June 11, providing people with developmental and physical disabilities a one-mile race through downtown Poughkeepsie. The Think Differently Dash will follow a route down Main Street to a finish line at Mid-Hudson Civic Center. The race will precede the opening of Dutchess County Tourism’s Health & Wellness Expo. The announcement came in honor of March being Disability Awareness Month. Walkway’s 5k, half-marathon, and full-marathon races will be held Sunday, June 12.
