U.S. Attorney Preet Bharara is being honored Friday night in Westchester County.  U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York Preet Bharara will be the keynote speaker tonight at the Westchester County Crime Stoppers dinner at the VIP County Club in New Rochelle. Bharara will receive the organization’s Crime Stopper of the Year award for his prosecutions of major cases involving political corruption, narcotics trafficking, terrorist plots, corporate and financial fraud and gang-related violent crime. Westchester Public Safety Commissioner George Longworth and New York Law Enforcement Foundation Chair Reginald Ward also will be honored. Meanwhile, Bharara is scheduled to speak with WAMC live on Monday afternoon at 4.
