A college in Dutchess County has been awarded a grant to support certain scholarships.
Annandale-on-Hudson-based Bard College has been awarded a $375,000 grant from the Dyson Foundation to support scholarships for students from the Mid-Hudson Valley. The college currently provides more than $1.8 million in financial support to more than 59 Mid-Hudson Valley students. With the Dyson grant, Bard will continue to recruit students from the region who may not otherwise be able to afford to attend the school. The Dyson Foundation is a longstanding supporter of Bard College’s undergraduate students.
