Orange County has two new tip lines for reporting crimes.
Orange County District Attorney David Hoovler says his office has established two phone tip lines. The Crime Hotline or General Crimes Tip Line may be used to report information concerning any type of crime. The Labor Crime Tip Line has been set up for tips involving workplace crimes, such as failure to pay proper wages, unsafe working conditions, prevailing wage violations, workers’ compensation fraud, and other such crimes. On either tip line callers may leave information anonymously, or they may leave their contact information if they wish to be reached by a district attorney office criminal investigator.
