Two candidates in the race for a New York congressional seat have agreed upon a debate schedule.
The Chris Gibson for Congress and Sean Eldridge for Congress campaigns Tuesday released a debate schedule. The first matchup between incumbent Republican Congressman Chris Gibson and Democratic challenger Sean Eldridge is October 3 in the form of a joint editorial board meeting with the Poughkeepsie Journal. The next is an Ulster County Chamber of Commerce debate at Lake Katrine Middle School October 6. Then it’s off to the Capital District, October 16 for a WMHT debate, and October 22 for a debate on Time Warner Cable News. The race is for the 19th district, which stretches across 11 counties.
