On Sunday, October 29th at 4 p.m. the West Stockbridge Chamber Players will perform a benefit concert for the restoration of the Old Town Hall in West Stockbridge. The performance features an acclaimed group of musicians, including Chamber Players’ artistic director Catherine Hudgins on clarinet, William Hudgins on clarinet, Sheila Fiekowsky on violin, Stephanie Fong on violin, and Adam Esbensen on cello. The program highlights the rich and wide-ranging world of classical music: Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s Divertimento No. 5, K. 439b, Eva Wasserman-Margolis’ 1994 piece The Generation of Hope, Czech-born Gideon Klein’s String Trio composed in 1944, the premiere of esteemed local composer Eric Shimelonis’ For the Love of Music: An Invocation Dedicated to Stuart Kuller, and Czechian Bohuslav Martinů’s
