Join the Lenox Library on May 10 at 1pm for a special storytime with author Mk Smith Despres! Mk will read from their lyrical picture book Night Song and lead an activity.

Every morning as the sun rises, Bernardo the frog loves greeting the day by listening to the beautiful birdsong that fills the woods with joy. Inspired, Bernardo attempts to sing, too... but his croaking voice doesn't quite have the same effect. Listen along as Bernardo discovers the vital role he’s meant to play in the woods’ great symphony.

Mk Smith Despres (they/them) is the author of There’s That Sun Again, illustrated by Julie Benbassat, Night Song, a 2024 New England Book Award Finalist, illustrated by Hyewon Yum, and the First Friends board book series, illustrated by Aya Watanabe and Libby Burns.
