This tour includes the Woodland Garden / Quarry Pool Path, House, Studio and the Russel & Mary Wright Design Gallery, culminating with a special presentation of the Jeff Zimmerman: Glass Light Nature Installation with Brett Littman, the former Director of the Noguchi Museum and former Associate Director of UrbanGlass where Jeff Zimmerman taught for several years.
Please note - this is a walking tour.
Visitors follow Manitoga's Site Educator along the upper Quarry path to take in stunning views of the Quarry Pool, House, and Studio. A stone stairway ascends through a mountain laurel grove, leading to the exquisite moss rooms before crossing a majestic waterfall via a wooden plank bridge. Upon reaching Dragon Rock, guests will have the opportunity to explore the historic House and Studio interiors—featuring expansive glass walls, innovative material use, and seamless connections to the surrounding terraces—enhanced by a special presentation of the 2025 Art + Design Installation. Brett Littman, renowned expert in the museum field, will offer insights into this year's installation, providing a unique and enriching layer to the experience.
