Long Form Improv Class Part 1: Thematic Long Form
This event occurs over four Thursdays: 2/10, 2/17, 2/24, and 3/3.
An ensemble deconstructs and builds with ideas found in a prompt or suggestion in a more free-wheeling way. Thematic formats include Harolds, Asscats, Armandos (deconstructed story) etc. Thematic forms don't necessarily tell a story; they use offers found in stories as a launchpad for group exploration, improvisation and freewheeling collaboration.
This is a class for students who already have some improv chops, not a beginner class.
