Literary Tour of NYC -- NYS Writers Institute

Literary Tour of NYC -- NYS Writers Institute

NYS Writers Institute and UAlbany Alumni Association host literary tour of New York City!
Join us as we mark 100 years of The Great Gatsby and The New Yorker with a special NYS Writers Institute literary tour of New York City on Saturday, June 21.

This centennial celebration honors two iconic representations of American letters: F. Scott Fitzgerald’s The Great Gatsby and The New Yorker magazine, both turning 100 in 2025. Our daylong excursion, curated in partnership with author and historian Kevin C. Fitzpatrick, offers a blend of storytelling, history, and literary nostalgia.

The excursion is presented by the NYS Writers Institute and the UAlbany Alumni Association.
