Lake Placid Sinfonietta - Barber Violin Concerto
“Barber Violin Concerto” featuring Guest Artist Maya Anjali Buchanan in the well-loved Concerto for Violin by American Composer Samuel Barber. Along with “Hoedown” by Copland and “Hungarian Rhapsody” by Hungarian-American composer Miklós Rózsa, and a solo appearance by bassoonist Gregory Quick in Daugherty’s “Dead Elvis”. A complimentary meet-the-artist reception follows the performance. This concert is underwritten by the Victor Herbert Foundation.
