The Dutchess County Historic Tavern Trail brings history and local cuisine together while introducing the community to iconic locales. This collaborative program, organized by the Dutchess County Department of History, local historical societies, and food and beverage partners, highlights the county’s rich past through engaging presentations at historic sites. This month’s program features "Dutchess Rev250: Revolutionaries of Western Dutchess," presented by Dutchess County Historian Will Tatum. We resume our Rev250 real-time programming by journeying back to May 1775 for a punch list of Western Dutchess County’s leading revolutionaries—and the loyalist opposition they faced. Learn about the individuals who shaped the early days of resistance in our region as the American Revolution began to unfold. This event is free and open to the public.
