Free Film Series: "What The Hell Happened To Blood, Sweat & Tears?"

Free Film Series: "What The Hell Happened To Blood, Sweat & Tears?"

Utica University’s free Films on Thursday series continues on Thursday, January 29 at 7:00pm with the documentary, "What The Hell Happened To Blood, Sweat & Tears?"

The ground breaking jazz-rock band Blood, Sweat & Tears was one of the hottest groups of the late-1960s, selling records by the millions, winning Grammy awards, and performing at Woodstock. But after participating in a 1970 U.S. State Department sponsored tour of Yugoslavia, Romania and Poland, the group came home to political fireworks and angry fans. Director John Scheinfeld chronicles that tour and its aftermath in this documentary that contains never before released footage from behind the Iron Curtain.
