- Let’s come together and care for the land! This month’s volunteer work party will take place at Hand Hollow. Please note that this event will start at the Gale Road entrance.
- While floating in Meizinger Lake, participants will help care for this special place by removing invasive water chestnuts from the water.
- All are welcome at this fun, friendly volunteer event.
- What’s involved: This volunteer event will include walking .1 miles to the Jim Woodruff Memorial Kayak Launch and sitting and paddling a kayak for an extended period in direct sun.
- What to bring: Please bring a water bottle, and sunscreen, and wear weather-appropriate clothing and footwear. Kayaks will be provided, but CLC welcomes individuals to bring their own kayaks.
