The Hotchkiss Chorus presents the 64th annual Festival of Lessons & Carols on Sunday, Dec. 3 at 7 p.m. in the Chapel of The Hotchkiss School, 11 Interlaken Road, Lakeville CT. This traditional service of Christmas readings and choral music features the Hotchkiss Chorus led by faculty member Jack Brown. They will be assisted by Joe Rose at the great chapel pipe organ, as well as several Hotchkiss student instrumentalists. Chaplain and faculty member Jason Larson will lead the service. The forty member chorus will be singing a variety of classic a cappella carols as well as contemporary settings from English and American composers. The audience will also be invited to join in singing several traditional carols throughout the program. Following tradition, the evening closes with the candlelight singing of Silent Night. The audience for this event includes students, faculty, staff, family and community members. All are welcome, but please come early to ensure a seat. There is no admission charge.
