Come kick off the Hudson Valley's fashion event! The Cold Spring Thrift Collective's fall thrift sale is now a two-weekend event.

All proceeds from the Thrift Sale go to the Philipstown Food Pantry and the St. Mary’s community.

The Cold Spring Thrift Sale keeps over two thousand pounds of clothing in circulation every year. It's also a community engine, fundraising for Philipstown Food Pantry and St. Mary's community campus and providing vouchers for regional assistance groups, not to mention helping neighbors find affordable new clothes and mend the old ones.

Visitors from New York City mark their calendars for the sale because we have a big space, friendly volunteers, and lots of high-quality, affordable clothes.

Thrifting is super fun. People find real treasures at every sale. But there is a bigger picture. The retail clothing industry is wasteful and damaging, from the dyes, pesticides, and oil in manufacturing to the bullying strategies of fast-fashion marketing, with human exploitation from beginning to end. The Cold Spring Thrift Collective aims to be part of a new sustainable and humane ethos.
