David Feurzeig Comcert for a Cooler Climate
David Feurzeig Comcert for a Cooler Climate
David Feurzeig, University of Vermont professor and internationally renowned pianist and composer, will play an exciting concert at the Pawlet Community Church on May 10, at 7 p.m. The program includes a wide range of music: classical, popular, jazz, blues, or ragtime.
His project, PLAYEVERYTOWN, is to play a concert in each of Vermont’s 252 towns, to inspire listeners to consider the consequences of climate change for all of us and to choose effective individual actions.
Teacher Lisa Hoyt and her talented students from Mettawee Community School will be among the local guest artists that Professor Feurzeig will accompany.
Information on free or discounted climate items and actions will be available. Refreshments will be offered at the concert’s end.
While the concert is free, contributions by cash or check to the environmental organization 350VT, founded by Vermont resident and environmental activist Bill McKinnen, will be welcome.
