Christian Escoto, a Washington, D.C. native, began his comedy career shortly after high school. Passionate about connecting with audiences, he says, “I enjoy writing my own jokes and telling them to a crowd full of people; there’s no better feeling than that.” Known for his quick wit and engaging stage presence, Christian regularly performs in the D.C. and Baltimore areas. Drawing from his experiences as a Filipino-American, he crafts relatable jokes and stories. “Making people laugh has always been the end goal,” he emphasizes. He has performed at top venues like the DC Improv, Hotbed Comedy Club, and the Howard Theater, opening for renowned comedians such as Jordan Klepper, Jessica Kirson, Sheng Wang, Robin Tran, Helen Hong, and JR De Guzman. Featured on Sirius XM, Christian is recognized as a rising star. “I’m glad when people laugh at my jokes in different areas. That way, I know we made a connection,” he reflects.
