Lenox Students are invited to explore contradictions & affinities, such as black & white, yin & yang
& the irresistible force versus the immovable object. Contrast is one of the fundamental priciples in art. Without contrast everything in a word of artwould be the same.
Jenn Nacht and Rebecca Daly of The Lenox Chamber of Commerce will co-chair. Karen Romeo-Léger & Alexa Bermudez, Art teachers from Lenox Middle& High School will present the theme to their students. The project will culminate in an art show at Welles Gallery in Lenox Library from May 16th-26th.
Three scholarship awards will be given to Senior students, chosen by a panel of jurors, for works that demonstrate artistic literacy and creative expression.
