ISIS-Utica Connection Broken By Feds

A Utica man is under arrest for giving aid and comfort to an enemy -

26 year old Nihad Rosic is a Bosnian native and naturalized American citizen, arrested for sending money to a group in the midwest who were using it to buy military supplies for ISIS, smuggling the items through Turkey.  Federal Agents say Rosic tried to board a Norwegian Airways flight out of JFK last July to join the ISIS  in Syria.

In all, six are accused of providing and conspiring to provide material support and resources to the Islamic State. Rosic is also charged with conspiring to kill and maim persons in a foreign country, which carries a life sentence.
