Union members join NYSNA nurses outside Albany Medical Center on November 25, 2020

Albany Medical Center Nurses are renewing calls for hospital management to come back to the bargaining table to discuss a new contract.

The nurses claim almost 500 of their colleagues have left AMC due to hospital conditions including forcing nurses to re-use masks. Tonia Bazel works in the COVID ward and alleges nurses are being bullied by management.

"Calling people into the office and questioning them. I got a phone call from my manager yesterday, on the phone, trying to divide and conquer us is their plan."

The nurses are planning a 1-day strike December 1st. Hospital officials say there will be no interruption in patient care.
