On-air questions: On September 20, 2010, the television show Hawaii Five-0 premiered on CBS. The show is a re-imagining of the original series of the same name, which aired from 1968 to 1980, and follows a state police task force charged with fighting major crimes in Hawaii. While the new series incorporates many elements of the original series, one subtle difference is in the title: the revival uses a zero at the end, instead of the letter O, which was apparently done to distinguish the two versions of the show in search results.
