Berkshire Theatre Group Presents "Tarzan"

Artwork for Tarzan at BTG

Based on the story, “Tarzan of the Apes” by Edgar Rice Burroughs and the Disney film, “Tarzan,” the stage musical version of “Tarzan” features a book by David Henry Hwang and music and lyrics by Phil Collins. The Berkshire Theatre Group presents “Tarzan” at The Colonial Theatre in Pittsfield, Massachusetts through August 16.

“Tarzan” follows the story of an orphaned boy, raised by gorillas in the jungle. Struggling to find balance between his human instinct and animalistic education, Tarzan's life is altered forever when he encounters his first human, the curious and wonderful, Jane. Directed by Travis Daly, the BTG production features over 100 talented Berkshire youth.

Travis Daly joins us along with Tim Jones who plays Tarzan and Haley Aguero – one of the actors playing Jane.

Joe talks to people on the radio for a living. In addition to countless impressive human "gets" - he has talked to a lot of Muppets. Joe grew up in Philadelphia, has been on the area airwaves for more than 25 years and currently lives in Washington County, NY with his wife, Kelly, and their dog, Brady. And yes, he reads every single book.
