Ellen Sinopoli Dance Company Celebrates 25 Years

Ellen Sinopoli founded the Ellen Sinopoli Dance Company [ESDC] in 1991, after settling in the Capital Region from Boston and New York City. The Company is the resident company at The Egg Center for the Performing Arts in Albany, NY.

The dance company is celebrating its 25th season. Sinopoli has choreographed over 70 new works and has received choreographic commissions from The Arts Center of the Capital Region, The Egg, Olana Partnership, St. Cecilia Orchestra, Saratoga City Ballet, Schenectady Museum and Union College.

ESDC has three presentations this month and more on the schedule for their coming season. Ellen Sinopoli joins us now along with Peter Lesser, Executive Director of The Egg.

Joe talks to people on the radio for a living. In addition to countless impressive human "gets" - he has talked to a lot of Muppets. Joe grew up in Philadelphia, has been on the area airwaves for more than 25 years and currently lives in Washington County, NY with his wife, Kelly, and their dog, Brady. And yes, he reads every single book.
