Albany Symphony's Guest Conductor Mei-Ann Chen And Guest Soloist Caroline Goulding

Mei-Ann Chen, the Music Director of the Memphis Symphony Orchestra and Chicago Sinfonietta, makes her Albany Symphony debut tomorrow night as guest conductor of the Albany Symphony Orchestra and joins us this morning.

Beethoven’s Symphony No. 6, the “Pastorale” Symphony, highlights the program, and the gifted young violinist Caroline Goulding brings her poise and technique to Albany for the first time with Mendelssohn’s Violin Concerto.

The concert is tomorrow night at 7:30 at the Palace Theatre in Albany.

Joe talks to people on the radio for a living. In addition to countless impressive human "gets" - he has talked to a lot of Muppets. Joe grew up in Philadelphia, has been on the area airwaves for more than 25 years and currently lives in Washington County, NY with his wife, Kelly, and their dog, Brady. And yes, he reads every single book.
