Natalie Merchant's Self-Titled Solo Album And Shows In Our Region

  Singer, songwriter, activist, and author Natalie Merchant, is back on tour with a new album. Nonesuch Records has released her sixth solo album - a self-titled, self-produced collection of 10 new and original songs.

She'll be performing tomorrow night (July 3rd) at 8pm at the Ulster Performing Arts Center in Kingston, NY, on Saturday, July 5th at 8pm at The Mahaiwe in Great Barrington, MA, and on Sunday, July 6th at 8pm at The Ridgefield Playhouse in Ridgefield, CT.

Dr. Alan Chartock is professor emeritus at the University at Albany. He hosts the weekly Capitol Connection series, heard on public radio stations around New York. The program, for almost 12 years, highlighted interviews with Governor Mario Cuomo and now continues with conversations with state political leaders. Dr. Chartock also appears each week on The Media Project and The Roundtable and offers commentary on Morning Edition, weekdays at 7:40 a.m.
