Last week's challenge

THIS WEEK'S CATEGORY: FAMOUS CONCERTS
On-air questions: Held at the Cleveland Arena on March 21, 1952, the Moondog Coronation Ball is generally accepted as the first major rock and roll concert.  It was organized by radio DJ Alan Freed, the man who coined the term "rock and roll." To commemorate that historic event, this week our questions are about famous concerts.
1. As part of an effort to encourage the members of the G8 to focus efforts on reducing poverty, Bob Geldof organized Live 8, a series of eight concerts held in eight cities around the world in July of 2005. This was the 20th anniversary of what other similarly-named event organized by Geldof?
2. The day after playing a traditional acoustic set, Bob Dylan returned to the stage at a folk festival on July 25, 1965 with a five-piece backing band and an electric guitar, and was booed off stage by the audience. At what Rhode Island festival did this take place?
3. Generally credited as the largest concert ever played in Central Park, the New York Philharmonic attracted some 800,000 fans on July 5, 1986 to celebrate the re-dedication of what landmark?
4. Playing his set on the morning of August 18, 1969, Jimi Hendrix was the last performer at Woodstock. Organizer Michael Lang, however, originally wanted what country and western singer to close the festival by playing his song "Happy Trails"?
5. In December of 2013, what performer announced he would play a concert at New York City's Madison Square Garden every month "as long as there is demand," and ended the main set of the first of those concerts with the song "Piano Man"?

Extra credit
1. What band appears four times on the list of the 15 highest-grossing tours of all time for tours to support their albums Voodoo Lounge, Bridges to Babylon, Forty Licks, and A Bigger Bang?
