FilmColumbia Festival - Melissa Leo

The 13th Annual FilmColumbia Festival kicks off tonight and over the next few days they will show highly anticipated films like Cloud Atlas;  David O. Russell’s Silver Linings Playbook starring Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence; The Sessions starring Helen Hunt and John Hawkes; Not Fade Away – the first feature by David Chase; Hyde Park on the Hudson directed by Roger Michell and starring Bill Murray as FDR – and many other narrative features and documentaries - as well as parties, panel discussions, and readings.

On Sunday, October 21 at 2:30pm, the FilmColumbia Festival presents a screening of Francine – a new movie starring our friend and Academy Award winning actress, Melissa Leo.

Melissa's credits include The Fighter; Red State; Frozen River; the HBO series, Treme; the HBO mini-series, Mildred Pierce; and many other film and television productions.

Joe talks to people on the radio for a living. In addition to countless impressive human "gets" - he has talked to a lot of Muppets. Joe grew up in Philadelphia, has been on the area airwaves for more than 25 years and currently lives in Washington County, NY with his wife, Kelly, and their dog, Brady. And yes, he reads every single book.
