Albany, NY – Ghosts have always been wildly popular. From the Victorian ghost tales to today's modern ghosthunter shows, we've always been looking for whatever goes bump in the night. This year, we're featuring a couple of first hand ghost stories. First, Jasmyn Belcher takes us on a ghost hunt in rural New York.

I grew up with ghost stories whether it was searching for the ghost my cousins and I were told haunted our family's summer cottage, or my mom's first person accounts of things she just couldn't explain. So when I got a chance to go to a haunted house in New York's Hudson Valley, I jumped at the chance.

And finally, a far more ambitious search. Signe Pike had a great job at a publishing company in New York City. But one day she packed her bags and began a tour of the UK she was searching for fairies. And that search led to a very entertaining book.
