Albany, NY – The death toll from Haiti's earthquake is well over two hundred thousand, and the rebuilding could take years. Despite overwhelming support internationally, the scope of the devastation simply cannot be handled in a few short weeks. And the rainy season begins in March. Rear Admiral Patricia Wolfe is a Navy reservist who was called to active duty shortly after the quake to coordinate relief efforts staged at the military base off the coast of Cuba. Her job is to keep supplies moving until humanitarian organizations and the Army take over the long term aid effort. She spoke with me from her office at Guantanamo Bay.

She's spoken out for nutritional education, for healthy food. But Rita Henley Jensen, founder of Womens eNews, was hoping she'd talk about a child's very first food - and the choice between breastfeeding and manmade formula.
