Albany, NY – Food banks in the US say they can't keep up with demand. Trucks carrying food are now bringing food to out of work Americans in the Midwest. But hunger is a global problem. Washington correspondent Laura Iiyama lays out the issues.

Getting businesses to contribute to charity can be a hard sell. But entrepreneur Dan Jacobs has launched a project that draws a direct line between philanthropy and the bottom line. It's called Everywun...and the idea is to get corporate sponsors for good causes, then create a small donation to the cause or your choice with every visitor to your blog, website or webpage.
