Here's the premise: On a single day, April 8th, 2005, Over 50 of nation's top female photographers took photos of American women from all walks of life and all corners of the country. These photographers captured everyday women living their lives on a single day. Through the photos and the subject's biographies, Editor Dawn Sheggeby says that women today are not looking to "have it all" anymore. Instead they are trying to find balance and crafting lives that are personally fulfilling.
