What's Behind Israel's Deadly Wave Of Violence

As the wave of violence in Israel and the West Bank continued to intensify over the weekend, U.S. officials are attempting to step in to help come to a peaceful resolution. So far 10 Israelis and more than 40 Palestinians have died in the three weeks of fighting.

Secretary of State John Kerry said he will meet with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas later this week to establish “clarity” regarding the arrangements at the contested holy site in Jerusalem known to Jews as the Temple Mount and Muslims as the Noble Sanctuary.
