U.S. News and World Report has given a “High Performing” ranking to four specialty areas at Vermont’s largest hospital.
The magazine has designated Fletcher Allen Health Care in Burlington a Best Regional Hospital and highlighted the Orthopedics, Gynecology, Nephrology and Ear, Nose, Throat divisions as high performing areas.
Fletcher Allen Chief Medical Officer Dr. Stephen Leffler notes it is the third year that the hospital has been listed.
Fourteen percent of five thousand hospitals earned best regional status.
