Historic Home Faces Uncertainty in Great Barrington

Great Barrington, Ma – The real estate slump has served as a mixed blessing for some historians and civil rights advocates in Great Barrington. A property that once belonged to civil rights pioneer James Weldon Johnson now sits on the market, the fact that nobody's made an offer means that the property remains preserved, but advocates are having a hard time finding a buyer to maintain the legacy.
