Agency Approves Adirondack Forest Use Plan

Ray Brook, NY – The Adirondack Park Agency has approved the planned use of Adirondack lands acquired by the Open Space Institute in 2003. Most of the ten-thousand acre tract, near Newcomb, will become part of the forest preserve, while smaller sections will remain private. Some of the planned use on the private lands is generating debate. WAMC's North Country Bureau Chief Pat Bradley has more.
