An annual road race that brings thousands of runners to downtown Albany is returning in August to a new location. The CDPHP Workforce Team Challenge will be held August 26 at the Altamont Fairgrounds. The race was canceled in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Organizers say the field will be significantly reduced with multiple socially-distant waves of runners. There will be no water stops on the course, and masks are required when social distancing is not possible. Registration begins in June.
