Democrats are halfway through their largely virtual national convention. Tuesday night, former Vice President Joe Biden was formally nominated for president by state and territorial delegations. Biden will speak Thursday night, but Wednesday night his former boss – President Barack Obama – and his running-mate, California Senator Kamala Harris, take center stage.
