According to a Facebook event, protesters plan to gather at Schenectady Police headquarters Monday evening. The “Get Your Knee Off Our Neck” group posted a photo it claimed shows a city police officer kneeling on a man’s neck on Brandywine Avenue today.
Similar restraining methods have been under close scrutiny and banned since the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis police custody May 25. This is a developing story.
