Whately, MA – Funding cuts and rising fuel costs are threatening the bookmobile run by the Western Massachusetts Regional Library System.. This bookmobile, which started in the 1940s, is said to be the only library to library bookmobile still operating in the country.. It is a resource many of the small libraries in Western Massachusetts heavily depend on....WAMC's Pioneer Valley Bureau Chief Paul Tuthill reports.....
