Scam Advisory: We have been made aware that an online entity is posing as Joe Donahue to invite authors and other creatives onto our radio shows. The scammers then attempt to charge guests an appearance fee for exposure/publicity.

Checking In With Regional Habitat for Humanity Chapters

The Tour de Habitat is making a comeback this year after a few years off. The cycling event is a fundraiser for Habitat for Humanity Capital District and is set for September 26 in Albany.

There are four different routes in lengths of 10 miles, 25 miles, 50 miles, and 100 miles - making their way through both Albany and Rensselaer counties. All routes start and end at Druthers Brewing on Broadway in north Albany.

Tour organizer, George DePiro, joins us as does Christine Hmiel-Schudde, Executive Director at Habitat for Humanity Capital District and Jeff Clark - Executive Director for Habitat for Humanity Northern Saratoga, Warren and Washington Counties to tell us about the importance of Habitat for Humanity.

Joe talks to people on the radio for a living. In addition to countless impressive human "gets" - he has talked to a lot of Muppets. Joe grew up in Philadelphia, has been on the area airwaves for more than 25 years and currently lives in Washington County, NY with his wife, Kelly, and their dog, Brady. And yes, he reads every single book.
